Take a look at the new Wested ordering pages on his site for ordering a custom Raiders Jacket. I have not followed this too closely, but I have heard just enough info to be slightly confused by the number of terms and details.
I would like a SA Raiders jacket from Peter. What is 80's cut? Does he still offer it? How many variations are there of the inside pocket? Some inside pockets have a pointed pocket edge, some just have a straight piece at the inside pocket opening. The other thing is that I need to get larger pockets to match the Cooper I currently have. This is only because my hands won't fit in the standard size pockets.
Selecting the hide type is another topic altogether. I have a great Wested brown cowhide that I plan to leave in un-altered condition. The one I plan to order will be for a distressed costume piece. Any pointers on what to ask for, and what Peter is still willing to do at this time?
