Just got my new Keppler fedora: very nice!!! Does anyone know what pecentage beaver felt is used?

No, it's a blend, rick, but I'm not sure how much.

For some reason I thought it was a 50/50 blend of beaver and rabbit.....

Sorry for the misinformation. I thought I read that they were rabbit.

I know that Beaver Brand makes plenty of different blends, but I was never convinced by their website wording that beaver actually made it into some of the hats, other then the company name on the liner. It was mentioned that the quality of the blend gets higher, but it was never clear what was blended...

I am not referring to Lee's site, but the Beaver Brand site. I do know that you can trust Lee, and if he says something you can take it to the bank.

Well, I've owned a Keppler Beaver Brand in the past, and can honestly state that if it's rabbit, it's like no rabbit I'VE ever seen before!

I am not claiming that they are rabbit, just that was my warped perception. I had a Keppler as well and the hat was very nice. I should stay in the jacket section
