Do you have a bad cast of a pistol, here's an idea...

...send it to me. This may sound like a strange request. I am looking to acquire a “damaged” resin S&W. I have no preference as to whether it is a Bapty or a Stembridge. This is what I’m looking for and why.

I would like a piece of resin that pretty much consists of the barrel and the cylinder. Some of the frame is fine, but not really necessary. It does not need to be finished in any way, and can be filled with bubbles or other flaws.

The reason for this item is a shape holder in my holster. Basically, I don’t want to be carrying a pistol (resin or otherwise) when I go out in costume on the street (conventions are a little different because of the tone of the event, and there typically aren’t police officers floating around). By placing a “half-pistol” in my holster, the holster will no longer sqeeze itself flat. There will be an appearance of some shape to it without a pistol butt hanging out the back.

Like I said, this is a bit of a strange request. I’m not sure if anyone else would be interested in one, but I am. I’ll admit that my reasons might not completely make sense to some folks.

So, if you are one of the guys who makes resin pistols and have one that didn’t come out of the mold correctly, please contact me and perhaps we can make a deal.

Thanks for your consideration.

Michael
