I have just finished my first Crystal Skull holster. This one is hand sewn with linen thread and the brown dye is carefully applied with an airbrush to give it an old look. The pattern is based on an IMA Webley holster, photo research of Indy's rig, and many other original Webley holster photographs. The end of the holster is sewn shut just like you see on screen. It will be up to the new owner to wet mold it to the particular Webley style revolver you may have. The bottom end of the holster is scuffed slightly in the photos of the original, but I would prefer that the customer finishes ageing it to their liking. You may also notice the rear belt loop strap has the familiar shape of many of original Webleys. To date, I have one finished, and a second one to be completed by friday afternoon. They will be for sale at the Queen Mary summit. The price is $125.00 If there is an interest, I will take orders.

I have one of these holsters for sale at $75.00 After attempting to place an original WG Webley revolver inside it, it appears that the fit is somewhat short. While the gun still fits in, newer versions will be longer to accomodate the additional length of the WG. If you do not plan on getting a WG, this holster fits the slightly shorter MarkVI Webley perfectly. When this one is gone, the pattern will be updated, and they will return to the $125.00 price. I have yet to see any CS style holster that properly fits the WG. I now have a Rook WG sample in hand to update the pattern.

I've seen the before mentioned holster in person this past weekend and I can tell you it's a quality holster! Jake, you do some fine leather work!

I just completed a wooded replica of the webley

Thanks to fellow COW member Indiana Bond, I was able to borrow his Rook Webley WG, and measure it to make a wooden pattern. I now have something accurate in size and shape to mold a holster properly to the WG. Thanks Indiana Bond, that saved me the cost of a Webley and/or a replica!

Can't wait to get my Holster from you tomorrow and retrieve my "Rook" replica. I will post pics of the holster and my real WG when I get them home.

Indiana Bond has picked up his new holster. There are changes he wanted made to the pattern and here are the results. The buttton closure for the holster is the traditional Sam Browne style of stud that is made in England. Not to be confused with the incorrect American made button studs. A great little accurate detail to add to this holster. I was able to study an origianl Webley holster while I was making the one you see below.

Finally got the chance to take a photo!

Here is Jakes Crystal Skull Holster along with my newly acquired Lee Keppler Crystal Skull Belt and a Simon Martin Crystal Skull Whip! And of course the Webley WG!

This gear is all top notch, well made, and extremely screen accurate. Can't wait for the next Indy event!!

Got it today! Excellent work, Jake. Old world craftmanship.It looks spot on. The indentation even fits my gun perfectly. If you're looking for a CS holster I highly recommend this one.

I made the wooden Webley out of a 3/4 plank of birch wood from Home Depot. I used a bandsaw, a vary large disc sander, dremel tools, files and sandpaper. Basically a wood sculpture project.
I could have easliy made a silicone mold of the Webley, but it would upset the cost-benefit ratio, and worse yet being called a Pirate! Someday having an original Webley would really be nice, So I'll wait til then. In the meantime getting a Rook Webley is nearly unobtainable. I'm not sure how crazy I am about carrying a wooden gun in the meantime. For now I'll just mold holsters with it.
