Has anyone ordered a Wested special in "Washed Goatskin" jacket ? If so, is this the Indy ROLA OTR jacket or the TOD or LC jacket ?

There are quite a few threads about these jackets so a quick search would be of help to you.

As stated on the Wested website, the OTR washed goat is available in both a Raiders and an LC style. I have the LC and feel it's a fantastic hide.

But the search is your friend and you'll even find photos of them.

I also have a washed goat LC, and it is amazing. I HIGHLY recommend it!

Hi All,

I ordered a Wested New In Raiders Washed goat two weeks ago. It arrived yesterday. It fits perfectly. The look isn't quite SA ROLA but it is close. I have soaked it in water and tumbled dryed (no heat) and the drape is great now. I applied some leather oil and it does look pretty good. I will post so pictures soon.

Size 42R Off the Peg :whip:

I have a TOD in washed goat.

I don't like the smell of the leather, and I don't like the backbone marks. I got two marks on my jacket.
But the jacket itself looks kinda cool. The leather distresses by itself very much.
After a few weeks of wear it looks like it would be a few years old.

Regards

I've got the LC otr in washed goat.....a good soak ,scrunch, tumble air partially dry, more scrunching and sandpaper, then light coat of Pecard after dry for several days do a lot to give it more character.....I think it's Wested's best leather presently, jmo.........

I agree the WG smelled a little weird to start with, but that fades fast with wear.

I really like the way it reacts to wetting and drying.
