Anyone else have actions pleats that are always open?

Post by indiana bob »

I searched for a topic like this but couldn't find anything about my exact question, so I decided to start a new thread. I was wondering if anyone else's action pleats are staying open nearly all the time. It's not anything terrible, but my side straps are as tight as I can make them, the tops of the pleats are still open. Is this normal?

the side strap is not suppose to be tigthend up.it is not a sizing strap.when all the way thightend up they will tear.if you look closely the straps on Indy's jacket is not at all tightend up.very lose

losen the straps and the pleats go more closed.

this is been discussed alot before.

I agree whith Holt on this: My jacket didn't have the flaring pleats (or Batwing effect as some call it) but when I tightened the side straps a litle those pleats flared out like crazy. Loosen up the sidestraps and the pleats will relax again.
