Hello from a new guy!
Hello to You all on this fine forum! I found Club obi-wan by accident during a google search looking for..You guessed it, an Indy style Fedora. As my screen name indicates I'm a little hat crazy BUT I do not own the classiest style of them all,the Indy Fedora! I've lurked and read a lot of good information here and admired the pics of Forum members Hats and gear and hopefully I won't be Fedora-less much longer.

WELCOME!! If you are looking for an Indy Fedora, you've come to the right place! There is more than enough info here to make sure "you have chosen wisely". Whether it be a Herbert Johnson Poet, an Adventurebuilt, a Fed IV Akubra, or one of the dozens of other quality hats currently made, they're all here and you can weigh the pros and cons.
Enjoy!
Enjoy!

Ahhhhhh...
Right you ARE, gwyddion...
Heh, heh...
Sorry 'bout that bink...
In all seriousness, HatMagnet... this is definitely the place for you... and I couldn't agree more with your tastes:
A while back I ordered a Raiders Grey Clipper from Oak (and in fact, just the other day he hinted that my hats on the block this week and nearing completion...) so I've ALLLMOST got it!
I agree with those here who've already said it: Look no further... you've found home.
And I can't believe that no one here has said it yet, but just so you know, the old reliable motto here at Club Obi Wan is:
(I'll see if I can get some help here by "throwin' it out")
"You'll come for the Gear...

For a newbie, ;-) you are making some darn fine choices. Once your hat or hats arrive please post some pics and wear them in good health.HatMagnet wrote:Thanks for the welcome everyone! Scot2525, I'm leaning towards the Grey one that Indy traveled in first and then the brown one. The pics I've seen of BendingOak's work are calling my name.
