I'd like to present you a whip which is quit speccial to me. It took me more than 2 months to finish it
Well of course I wasn't working on it day after day. While I was working on this whip I moved into another flat where I was finally able to built my own workshop in. There I finished the 7ft. long whip in saddle tan.
I thought I share some pictures of the workshop and whip:
cutting arrea:
plaiting arrea:
finished whip:
hope you like the pictures

Great job on the whip BreinederIndy. Your workshop looks nice also. Did you make your plaiting bench yourself?

Thank you. Do you mean the working bench or the sewing horse?

Nice work! Looks like the months were well spent in the end! No reason to rush art...It likes to take its time....

I'll always be jealous of that workspace, Dan! Especially as you know what mine looks like!! Have you cracked that whip yet? It's such a huge improvement on the last one that I can't wait to see what the next one will look like.

Yes, it cracks quit easyly, though it doesn't responde as a well as a broken in one yet of course.
I just love this space, I just need to use it more often as what it is intended for: as a place to work in
Things develope this way anyway at the moment

Oops, yes I guess I mean the sewing horse. I thought it looked like something I had seen the Edwards book that you sit on and plait.
