I'm pretty excited about getting a leather jacket, not just because it's like Indy's but because it's a real leather jacket.. and those always have some kind of prestige to them don't they?
have you gotten compliments about your jacket?

You'll definitely get a couple glances if you ruffle up that jacket w/ a little distressing. What kind of Indy jacket are you going to go with?

Right now I have my heart set on a US Wings A-2 2000. Perfect blend of Indy and what I like in a coat.

That's a nice jacket, but keep in mind that those cloth trimmings on the sleeves and bottom, besides being totally not SA, are also going to eventually fray and come apart on you, making a jacket that could last you 100 years one that will only last you 30.

It's Fine With Me I Just Can't Stand Open Cuffs. The jacket Itself Is Pretty Accurate Which Is Nice Too

I purchased my Wested Raiders OTR Goat in July and I would never ever had thought I could ever be in a position to own one; many thanks to friends and family who gave me money for my birthday; I became placed in the very greatfull and appreciative position to own one; I will never take the generosity of others for granted. What an amazing birthday I had.
I completely understand your excitment as I have and still do experience that feeling every time I wear it. My jacket is amazing in my eyes; maybe not one hundred percent SA, but I do not care.
Be excited and stay excited; its a great thrill.
God Bless you pal, and enjoy that jacket,
Paul.

I love leather jackets, though I sometimes get chastised for wearing a dead animal. Leather Jackets, in my experience, still have that stigma of not only being faux-pas, but bad fashion (see the A2 craze of the 80s).
Oh well, I don't care, they're still awesome.

Ahhh, I see. You like the cuffs closed around your wrists to keep out the breeze. In that case, the jacket you are after looks perfect!
Enjoy!

I believe the Indy jacket will get you far more looks than just putting on any old leather jacket- after all most people haven't seen a jacket quite like it on the streets in half a century!
I can't wait until I get mine! Particularly once i break it in more and it gets that 'lived-in' look. A lot of guys have leather jackets (and a lot more have faux-leather and think they look like bad-### bikers or something)... but I bet you'll really appreciate this one a bit more than the average leather jacket you might pick up at a target:) I know I will! (if I don't screw up my order)
