x-box challenge
nope....this isn't an invitation to play medal of honour online...
does anyone have a clear pic of ford wearing a jacket with actual x-box stitching?.....gotta be a full x and no k's. i can't seem to find any pics of him sporting this strap attachment throughout the first 3 movies (we already know that CS doesn't have any).
i don't think this was ever done on a hero jacket....but i'd love for someone to prove me wrong.

todd established that the anchors were 1" x 1/2" rectangular stitches with a half X on the back panel portion (the front not being reinforced).
this is standard on his design.
there are x-box stitches on TN's screen jacket, which makes me believe that x-box reinforcement was in place during the early days and not just a customer request. the funny thing is, this does not propagate to the TOD or LC jackets.......makes me wonder how they ever came about.

yes this is something I have been wondering about myself.
as seen on the TN jacket it has the X-box..but I have never seen the X on screen..makes me wonder what scene/jacket it is?
as for the K stitch on Todd's, it comes from this jacket.

what? serious? that has allways looked like a K stitch to me.
I cant see any X or the bigger box..
the plane scene jacket and this jacket looks pretty much to be the same jacket...

nice one joosse!
actually, todd contested that the stitch on the front is not there as it was just how the leather and shadows are shown in the photo. i agree that it almost looks like a k-stitch there. he did agree to this stitch being on the back panel......i'm sure peter o'toole would agree too
From what I recall, Peter has always used the X-stitch from the beginning. It was people here that made him change it way back when when we were still looking at VHS screen caps. Now we have the TN jacket using the X-stitch as well from a production made jacket. My method of thinking always has been that there were X's there and I was very happy to see the TN jacket supporting this.
Take the idol for example. We can all see some kind of marks on the eyes looking like indents as pupils. However, we now have verifiable proof from the people at the archives at the highest levels who say there never were any indents. Ever. _ is right about the fact that we can't always judge everything on screen caps even though they are a valuable tool. Thta is the magic of movies. It's not always as it seems and in most cases it's much more simple than you anticipate.
