Above is a link to a video I made today of my whip collection. I start out with the Morgan bullwhips I have, and then after that there's a few bullwhips, but mostly stockwhips. I haven't counted how many whips there are in this video yet, but there's at least 30.

What you need now is a good twelve-step program.

My mentor, my hero. All I can say is watch out, I am very competitive and I am pretty sure that this bull whip thing has taken hold.

Let me give you an example. I like tropical fish. I have had as many as 29 aquariums in the house and my wife and I spent over 60 days camping in the Amazon Rain Forest collecting fish for our tanks rather than buy them at the store. I collect crane models and have over two hundred of them. I hated buying furniture so I make all my own.

So as I rapidly sink into this hobby, I can see myself having a collection just like that-good news for all the vendors, bad news for my wallet!!

What a great collection Adam. It was very cool of you to take the time to share them all with us!

I think a more than a twelve-step may needed for bobm2004 something more like an intervention. J/K :)

Seriously, nice collection Adam.

No, really Canasta, I'm okay, I can handle this, I can quit any time I want to ...

I remember hearing that David Morgan has some 300+ whips in his collection, so that makes having 50-60 whips not sound as bad, right :-k

Bob, I wasn't worried about you before, but now you've got me a little worried. Maybe I need to set new goals for myself, like for every whip I buy I need to put matching funds into a 401K or something. Or just put all the money into a 401K...

Though, Bob, if you end up with as many whips as I have, you at least have to let me come over to play with them :whip:

Question! How do you store your whips?

Some of them I leave out on a couch in my workshop/basement along with my practice whips, but most of them I keep loosely coiled in a suitcase. I try to take them all out every couple of months to check them over and give them a work out.
