Wested Linings?

On anticipation of ordering Peter's TOD jacket (cannot wait, cannot wait, cannot wait) I checked the Wested Indyjacket.com ordering page and they offer a selection of various Indy jacket linings which include cotton, satin sleeves, Silesia, and satin. Which lining is more SA and do people have pics of each? What about comfortability? 8)

Agreed. I have three Wested's with the same cotton body/satin sleeves lining. I wouldn't want it any other way!

IS that the most SA? Does anyone know if Peter will offer his TOD jacket this way?

The NH jacket was said to have some kind of nylon lining... and I think Wested has some similar material... but I'm not sure. Since I don't plan on using the jacket for a summer vacation in Sri Lanka, I'm going to try and go with the nylon if they have it...

The proto has a thin nylon/acetate lining mirroring the original. I believe he will offer this as the default lining for this jacket.

Heck, if I find I don't like that I'll get it changed to cotton... How's that for SA! ;).

Cotton with silk sleeves is probably not SA, but it's the best choice for a daily use.

Wore it for about 25 minutes with a Noel Howard shirt. Really never really noticed any difference. Nothing much to report, not particularly hot, doesn't appear to cling. Looks very much like the real lining.

Don't mean to take this off-topic, but KT, is there a bottom hem stitch on that jacket?

MMM, no seam at the hem, but there should be stitching at the very edge of the sides of the back panel. Not enough for piping but there is a stitched seam.
