I'm getting a used Pagey Whip from a member here and I was curious...is there a way to clean a whip? or is it even necessary? Also pecard's regular leather conditioner is good for a roo hide whip?

Hey Gunk,

some very basic basics....

If it's really dirty a bit of saddle soap and an old rag will bring it up nice...

Let it dry out naturally (not on a radiator or in the airing cupboard)

Pecards is good as is any beeswax based leather dressing (Jay-el & Fieblings Aussie Leather Dressing are 2 others that are very good)

I use Pecards and have gotten good results on both whips. In fact, I've never had anything be positive results on anything I've put Pecards on, boots, bag straps, belts, holster, whip, etc.
