Just as a reminder to all the fans here, it was Lee Keppler that found the Alden's connection. Deborah Nadoolman (Landis), the costume designer, insisted it was the Red Wing's boot to this day. Lee persisted and found out it was really the Alden 405 boot. This is way back in the early 80's without benefit of the internet. And, and... it was Fritz in Sherman Oaks that actually fitted Harrison with his original pair. Lee did the "gum shoe" to figure that out as well. Amazing!!! For ultimate gratification, I would encourage all of us fans to order from Fritz directly.
