has anyone else noticed that in the last crusade when indy entered the grail chamber indy has his bag on as usual but a few shots later it disappears and you dont see his bag for the rest of the movie. is there a reason why? did they loose all of the bags during filming?

when the grail knight swings the sword... he cuts the strap and it falls off

You don't actually see it get cut or fall off. It falls off kind of when the camera angle changes. If you look at the floor by Indy's feet when Donovan chooses poorly, you can see it on the floor.

I think you can kind of see it start to fall, but it's not established very well - it's not like they made it too explicit for you. But it IS what happened. ;-)

This is so cool. I never even noticed this. But then again I didn't even pick up on Indy drinking the grail water and the scrapes on the side of his head dissapearing....shows how much I pay attention.

Speaking of disappearing gear, where did Indy's belt, holster, and whip go at the end of KOTCS?

ok in kotcs indy gets captured by the russians after he gets the skull and they take his gear. from the tent scene to the end u dont see the gun belt or holster. indy puts his whip on his web belt and i cant remember the whip gone at the very end after the ship disapears if it is gone it could be when indy is trying to save mac. thats the only reason i could think if the whip is gone but not sure about the whip but i do know the holster and gun belt were in the russian hands

Gotta say it p###ed me off that they just couldn't get rid of Indy's rig quick enough. I really think it was modern politics coming into play. Kinda like what Spielberg did with the guns in E.T. I already maintain that CS noticibly lacks the guts of the other films but this just adds to it. Face it, the film wasn't made for the fans, it was made for the fans' kids.
