Thanks to a member here, I have a bulwhip on the way!
So, now I need a holder.
I know I can count on you guys to help me out once again.
The Todd's one is $20.00 + shipping, but I'm not crazy about it with the velcro and all. A cool idea, but not screen accurate...
So, if anyone makes one, or knows of a new or used on for sale in my price range, please let me know!
Thanks!
(worst case I order the Todd's)

If you get screen accurate, get ready for some real life knee beatings. Whip holder worked on screen but in real life, your whip probably will constantly fall out of the holder and drive you nuts. Not fun to have your whip smack the ground or straight into your knee.
Todd's looks good and works fairly well once you get it adjusted correctly.
Otherwise, go have a look at Lee Kepplers. I've heard good things about Wolfpitwhips (not accurate either if I'm correct).

Various holders there. Regular Indy style (just simply snap around the whip) aren't going to work out that well. But there's some others on that page that work well but aren't accurate.

Why don't you just make one. This has to be one of the easiest Indy gear pieces to make. It will probably cost you less than $10. I think mine cost me around $6 or $7 and that's because I had to buy a larger piece of leather than I really needed.

well I have several
I have the wolfpitwhips one which is made by our very own Mola Ram
I have the Todds costume one
and I have one from western stage props.
The WSP one is not adjustable at all, so really doesnt work as well.
The wolfpit one is made out of very thin leather and at first i thought it was not of quality, then i realized tha it HAS to be thin in order to stretch and GRIP the whip..... its actually a brilliant design.
The Todds one LOOKS alot better and if you can get it adjusted right works pretty good.
Also, heres a trick for whip coiling...... Velcro brand makes "velcro tie straps" which work really well at coiling whips... use one of these and then put the whipholder over it and it doesnt matter waht kinda holder you have

I use those Velcro straps to hold smaller stuff like extra winch rope and the winch control cable in the truck's recovery gear in.
They also have some nice ones that arewider and stronger- I use those on the recovery straps...
So, this is not getting me much further along, but I will look into those other oprtions.
Any links? Please? (Saw the whip studio one above- thanks!)
I can try making one, or get to a local leather shop with screen grabs and try that route- the good thing there is I can have the whip holder rivited to the blt. BUT, how does one get the holster off the belt then?

You would have to have a removable buckle.

Actually, I'm dumb, the free end goes through the holster...

Well,
mine isn't really SA but it works.
And I'm located in CT, so shipping would...be really low.
I try to make it the most affordable one around.
18$ + 1.50 first class

Hey J!m,
PM wadventure, see what he can do for you. If you can't do it yourself, his raiders whipholder (Riveted to your belt) would look good. In fact, check over in "Gear".
