Looking for a Raiders Whip...

...for my costume.
I am leaning toward a Todd's Costume whip, but perhaps I can find a "real" whip for $200.00 (+shipping) that someone wants to get rid of for some ca$h?
Anyway, that's the deal. Todd's is a 1-2 week wait right now, so that is my time frame.
Please let me know if you have one, or know of one availible. I checked the Bazzar already- either too short, too rich, or both...
So, that's it! Thanks for looking!
PS I'll be needing a whip holder too...

Thanks for the info!
But, what are you talking about (IOAB?) and do you have a link/address for that other site? (Sorry if this is commonly known...)
Thanks again!

IOAB is adam winrich's budget whip "Indy on a budget". do a search here......it's a 4 plait whip (correct me if i am wrong)....which is why it is inexpensive. i've never handled one myself but i here that this is one of the best bangs for the buck if you want an inexpensive whip that truly performs. i do not think adam is taking any orders though.
the other site is indylounge.com.......say hi to raging blues when you're over there ;-)

Thanks for the clarification!
Don't really want a 4-plait however... It needs to look the part moreso than work- which is why I was entertaining Todds- that is for VERY light use / display only, which is about where I fall in this equation... If I get to liking the whip a lot, I would then entertain getting a 'proper' whip later on. Or, if I could get a 'proper' whip for the cost of the costume whip, that would be ideal, obviously.
I will check out indylounge.com now... ;-)

sorry that was really ignorant of me I just assumed everyone knew what that meant, I should have known better from dipping my foot into the fedora board recently where I didn't have a clue what they were all talking about
ETA:- The IOAB was a real shock on both occasions I got to chuck one about, I expected not too much but found them to be a
very very decent whip shocked in a good way you might say

OK I knew I could count on you guys!
Thanks to Kiscien, I will have a nice FUNCTIONAL whip that falls within my budget, AND have it in time to use at Halloween parties!
Thanks! ;-)
Now, I need a whip holder... Todd's is $20.00+ shipping, but I'm not totally sold on it. Any other suggestions in that price range?
(I'll start a new thread for the whip holder too)
