Dear all,

Days before I saw a topic thats shows the real measurements of Harrison Ford taken by the costume person for Indiana Jones.
In that topic you could see that mr. Ford is not so taller than we imagine.
My friends doesn't belive me so I want to show this topic but now I can't find it.
Can you please help me to find it?

I believe you are referring to where Noel Howard listed Ford's height as 5'9". I met Noel about ten years ago and he was a tall guy, well over 6', possibly 6'2". It's just my theory, but I think it's possible he may have underestimated his own height and consequently Ford's if he was shorter.

I don't know how reliable this is but the Internet Movie Data Base says that he is 6'1"... Although I seem to remember people that have met him saying he is more like 5'10".

Easily 6 feet plus.

His height is hard to pin down. Indy doesn't look much taller than Sallah or Mutt in some scenes. And look how short Rhys Davies is next to Holt in the thread that details their meeting.

I think that may be because he's still recovering from the "Gimli" gig.

Shia is listed on IMDB as 5'9" and 1/4th- I'd say Harrison is a good deal taller than 5'9" or 5'10", so the 6'1" is probably correct...

Really? When did he state that? I asked him about it a couple of months ago and he said "I don't know that Chris".

Perhaps he misunderstood your question through the Brummy accent?

he could have been taller when Raiders came out, my dad is the same age and he seems to have gotten shorter in the past few years. So maybe Harrison got shorter too.

Well, considering that my own height has not been universally agreed upon, I can believe all the confusion.

If it helps, I own a pair of Aldens and a pair of Harley Davidson boots. The biker boots easily makes me an inch or two taller than with the Aldens, so maybe the same could have happened with Indy and Mutt? If Ford is currently 5'10, and Shia is 5'9, or 5'8, maybe those boots acted like a pair of lifts!

there's a shot of him standing next to Schwarzenegger (6'3", but let's say he's lost an inch since his bodybuilding days and say 6'2") on his IMDB site and he's definitely not 5" or 6" shorter than him, only a couple inches shorter (though Arnold's head is HUGE compared to his- this made me realize what a gigantic bone structure Arnold must have)- so he's at least 6'0" and in his prime I wouldn't disbelieve 6'1" for a second.



also that should clear up any confusion- Ford is clearly much taller than Labeouff!
