Todd's Standard Whip Orange?

Post by whipitgood »

Why is Todd's standard prop whip orange? It seems like such an odd color for an Indy whip.

It's supposed to look like an old Natural Tan whip - not a new one. I think the color is fine...

A friend of mine bought a Todd's recently. Though is better finished than what I first thought, I agree is too orange-At least, compared with my Del Carpio.

I'm not crazy about the orange as it seems quite vivid, but the whip is actually pretty cool. The photo on the website looks more like natural tan. That Del carpio is a nice color. For the price Todd's is a great costume piece.

The end knot looks OK to me, it just doesn't have the last strand tucked
up under the fall loop is all ( those strands are a wee bit short ). Image
