Picked up this HorseHide LC jacket from a COW member for a Crystal Skull style jacket and I think it turned out to be just the right fit for that...

Congrats on the fine fine fine looking jacket . I'll bet that's what Indy's jacket looks like out of the box when he order it from Peter soooo looong ago. Wear it in great health.

Atkins

Thanks for the words everyone... hopefully I'll get a correct sized hat and my Todd's shirt soon to complete the gear.

PSB - yep that's the one I snagged from you... thanks for a great jacket!

I may be selling this one soon however, as I already have a Todds ROLA that fits as it should and I'd really like a new Wested TOD and can't have all these Indy jackets taking up closet space... :-k

Dude, you forgot to put the bag on the OUTSIDE of the jacket! ;-)

Off topic slightly (maybe a lot), but I went back to look at the first photos in this thread and noticed something with the pants...

Notice the outseam is much longer on HF's pants compared to the other pants in the pic beside him.

In other words, as I thought might be the case, the pants are mande to the older patterns, where the waist is worn, well, at the waist. So, the outseam is at least an inch longer than typical pants available these days. (just look at the length of the fly seam).

So, (here's the really of-topic part) are the pants provided by Wested and others made to the older 'high waist' (which is actually better called true waist) pattern or are they a modern interpretation of the old design?

I mention this because the 'short shirt tail syndrome' we all (well most of us) suffer from would be greatly reduced/eliminated if the pants were worn at the waist, and not just above the hip, as is typical with modern styles.

OK, we now take you back to your regularly scheduled programming...

Thanks Geert, but yes I think it may have to go... I'm more partial to the fitted nature of the TOD style.

Yeah I know the bag goes over the coat. I had it on the shirt since I swapped between jackets for a quick pic. I'll make sure to get it right next time. :whip:

BTW my pants are LL if anyone needs a reference for J!m's post.
