Coppola possibly wearing a Herbert-Johnson?

I was on google images when I came across this picture of Francis Ford Coppola (notorious Lucas' friend) and I couldn't avoid to notice how the hat looks like being... the right colour, height and ribbon (a part from the brim of course). The picture looks pretty old (he still has a black beard) but has anyone ever seen this? Do you know where is it from? Is it possible that he bought a bowler hat from HJ in the right years?
Just a wild guess, I expect wild answers



Or perhaps is just a wardrobe left-over from The Godfather, anyone knows if the Godfather had HJs? Looks very good quality
