Yoke Seam Relative to Sleeve - a Big Deal?

Last night I just found some threads (COW and another site) where some amke a big deal out of the fact (?) that the yoke seam on the back of a Raiders jacket is supposed to be about an inch north of where the sleeve seam hits the back. Posted screen shots appear to corroborate this.
From looking at most offerings out there it looks like Todds is the only one that does this. Is there a reason for not doing it? While other SA items seem to be argued over, this issue doesn't seem (seam) to be much of a point of contention.
Does it really matter? Are TOD or LC jackets supposed to have the same 1" seam relationship

This is something that is unique to the Raiders jacket. Wested also did it on mine as a request. The ToD and LC have a larger yoke all together, the seam of which meets with the sleeve seam.

Current Wested Rainders a Combo, then

That looks like it means the current Wested Raiders is a combination of Indy styles, then. Just have to decide just how important SA is to me, as I still vacillate between Todds and Wested. Todds somehow seems to "look" lighter in weight than what I'd like.

It's funny how these little things can niggle, isn't it? That's definitely a detail I'd be looking out for.

Do you mean this one?:

They don't show a back pick - have you seen the actual jacket?
And I've heard that all of the ones labeled "special offer" are 80s cut. Is that right?
Still mulling over how important SA is to me. If so many on COW have jackets from places other than Todds, unless they're all getting customized jackets, many must have accepted the non-SA yoke seam position.
Not sure if I like the matt finish, either. Looks rather dull (pun intended).

No, the washed goat is a standard cut.

I have noticed in some members' pics that the arm seam can appear to be joining below the yoke when their arms are hanging straight by their sides. This illusion occurs when the top of the back panel obscures where the arm seam meets the jacket body.

I feel the shorter yoke in the Raiders jacket probably contributes to the correct functionality of the action pleats (due to the way they sit on the shoulders), but that's just me.

that is the one. i see this jacket everytime i pick it up off the floor before i go to work ;-)
it does feel like an 80's cut to me. i have a TOD wested (no not the one thats coming out......i wish) in the same size and in an 80's cut and they feel similar. the washed goat has high armholes (on me) and there is only a very short list of things that i would change to consider this my end all, be all wested.

I must be going crazy.
I thought for sure that my washed lamb had the correct configuration. I sold it to Herr Doktor to fund another jacket so maybe he can corraborate.

Isn't the back panel supposed to extend to and be flush with the seam on the side of the top back panel? I don't think this is standard on any of the vendors jackets but i thought it was screen accurate for Raiders. I've requested it three times from Wested and have never gotten it. I have seen this request met by Wested for others on occasion.
