WOW! is the first thing I have to say. What a wonderful hat this is, and I love it! This is my first custom made hat, and I'm suitably impressed. I've owned alot of different felt hats, from western style to fedoras. Beaver Brand, Stetson, Miller, even DP , as well as other brands, but this is, by far and away, the finest I've ever had on my head.
John, your craftsmanship is superb! The fit is perfect; the felt is butter soft and a beautiful brown; I've never seen such a great sweatband, the softest and heaviest I've ever had in a hat (very comfortable); I love the way the liner is sewn in, rather than glued; the ribbon is the best I've ever seen. Outstanding. I love everything about the hat!
You did a great job on the bash, which, by the way is Idol Grab with turn. The bash relaxed abit during the trip, but after tweaking a little, its fine again.

Yes, I know...........
;0

Which is why I am going to ask all you neighborly souls out there, can someone tell me how to post pictures on this bloody thing. I need more info than just "link it to photobucket", please. I'm just an old soldier who's not that computer savy.

Anyway, pics to come when I can figure out how to do it.

John, thanks again for this beautiful hat. My next order, which I hope to place in a few months, will be for a China Clipper grey.

Did I mention I love this hat!

Cheers,

Andy

All these glowing reviews of these hats are making me very happy that I took the plunge and ordered one. I'm sure I'll be adding my own praise to the growing list of accolades. :)

I have had a couple of people give me their head measurements based off of hat sizing charts. This has caused a problem with those people getting hats that don't fit. Even when they sent me a measurement in inches it really was from a hat size chart and not really taken from their own head.

My hats are custom fitted and not mad to fit off the rack. My blocks are custom made for the sizes I wanted. They are not standard size. I'm trying to make everyone happy but I can't remake hats for people when they make a mistake like this.

If you normally wear a size 7 3/8 and know that I want sizes in inches don't go to a web site and to some size chart and look up 7 3/8 and get that in inches and give it to me. It wont work. I need a true measurement from your own head.

I hope this is clear. I'm sorry for the rant.

I have a open crown Raiders brown brand new with the head measurement of 22 3/4. If you would like to buy this hat contact me. No wait time at all.

thanks again
John
