I was fortunate enough to take Paul Nolans whip making class earlier this year and thought folks would enjoy reading about my experience. http://www.showhips.com/blog
I had a lot of fun(and sore hands) and highly recommend Pauls course to those who’ve thought about making their own whip. I can’t thank Paul and Lauren enough for their hospitality and thoroughness in their training.
Hope you all enjoy the read as much as I enjoyed writing about it.

Thanks Shagbd!!
I keep in touch with Paul and Lauren and a few months ago Lauren mentioned she was working on the Katana whip. I had a good idea what she was trying to attempt with the wrapping of the handle that adorns Samurai swords and I did NOT envy her. Of course, based on what I know about her and her work ethic, I knew she would do a great job. I just thought you'd be happier with the whip !!!
Really though, I'm happy that it went to someone who appreciated the work she put into it. It was great to read the wonderful responses she received on her work.
