What kind of leather is best when replacing a fall? Where do you find pre-cut falls or a long length of fall cord?

I would suggest White Alum Tan for the fall 4-5oz for a lighter fall 8-9oz for heavier falls. OR Latigo also works same oz as Alum tan leather. Any of the whipmakers who post on COW usually have falls already precut and ready to replace. FYI
