Hi
this jacket I have worn as much as I have could .rain.snow.storms.sun.all of it.
it has broken in nicely and is very soft to touch.
it has picked up some nice distressing so far.
so the question for you...
about 7 weeks abo parcelforce lost my jacket.so I could reorder a new one....so today its the day for a new order..finally..
I am thinking of getting a custom washed goat or a dark brown lambskin.
what do you think guys..should I order in the same length or a little shorter??
in this link you see the jacket right out of the box.

Looks good Holt. That length is fine, but since you had concerns over the length of your HH LC, maybe get this one a little longer just to be safe. One inch. But it's raiders, so, maybe not. I'm no help!
You're a solid dude too, you almost need to ask for bigger sleeves (not longer, wider) to allow them to be a bit baggy.
Finally, get a dark brown lambskin, like me! Ordered a week and a half ago. I'm glad Peter will have been arond for at least some of my jackets construction before leaving for his vacation!

Holt,
I say get dark brown as well. In many ways I find it to look more like what I see on screen. I'm actually about to place an order for a new dark brown lamb custom as well.
I'm glad Peter will have been arond for at least some of my jackets construction before leaving for his vacation!
Does Peter typically have something to do with EVERY single custom order made? If so I may want to wait before ordering until he's back from vacation.....I didn't think he would oversee all the orders considering the volume he must get along with the work he does for films. Kevin, I'm just wondering how you knew that, did Peter tell you himself? I'm not doubting you, just curious since I think it might affect my order....

I was just being silly!
I'm sure he's already wandering around the office wearing a big sombrero by now anyway! I know I would; Mexico sounds fun.
I have absolutely no idea how much Peter has to do with the construction of each jacket; though I would feel better knowing he was there!
And just to get back on topic, yes Holt, go for a dark brown lamb, that's my vote!
Then washed goat next time!

that is something KT could give an answer to..I think..since he is there alot I mean...
but I dont think we should worrie if Peter is there or not..
I speak to Gemma alot and we spoke about just that a couple weeks ago...
the cutter they use is a higly trained cutter with an eye for detail..
so I think they recheck it all the time while cutting..

Yea that makes sense. I assumed as much in any case. Although I am under the impression from speaking a few brief times with Peter on the phone and everything I read here that he cares about making customers happy. They fixed my action pleats for me and had it back to me in a week. Awesome service in my experience. Especially considering all of us sticklers Peter deals with as well as the other Indy communities he sells to.

I think the length is ok on this jacket.
I just ordered a Custom Raider in Washed Goat with Agent5's specs and the advices you give me Holt. I keep the leather facing, it's not SA but I know myself and I will end up catching the lining in the zipper every chances I get
So I confirmed the measurements I sent with Gemma since it won't be returnable or refundable.
Now the wait begin !!
