Emails to Wested.Com- MUST READ

Post by PETER »

To all concerned.
On Monday the 18th not only did our main computer blow up but in attemting to retrieve emails to the back up that to became corrupted.
So the position is that I have lost all my backed emails and most of my accounts. The hard dsikc have gone a specialist firm to retreive the data.
More important is that ALL EMAILS SENT BETWEEN 15th AND 18th WERE DOWNLOADED BUT DELETED BEFORE BEING REPLIED TO so any orders in those dates have not been processed.
I am now back on line and answering emails form 19th onwards but be patient as there are a lot of them.
ANYONE WHO HAD MADE AN ORDER IN THE LAST WEEK AND HAS NOT HAD A REPLY WITHIN THE NEXT 48 HOURS MUST RESUBMIT.
WHAT A DISASTER?

Basically, I detest computers. Yeah, they are nice for visiting places like this, and ordering those Westeds without having to resort to the phone calls. And I was forced into using them at work by the accountant. I liked it back when I had a couple of young ladies doing the records by hand. More personable, pleasant to look at, and much more interesting in general. I am afraid we are stuck with all this, and there ain't no going back. I feel for you Peter. If the things were not so darn handy, it would be open season on them. Fedora

Peter, you NEED to get a MacIntosh G4 and you wouldn't have those problems, well not hardly. Anyway, I'd get rid of that old computer. Image

Sorry to hear of your situation 'ole chap. Hope it all works out. Next jacket I get from you will be "in-store" as I'll be over in your area of the world in June.
Indy4ever might want to check now, as he ordered a jacket in about the time frame of concern.
Good luck Peter, and thanks for the continued support here at COW.....
