cool nights

Post by jacksdad »

Here in Illinois the temp has dropped a little the past few nights, and I work overnight so I got to wear my Wested goat to work and I just love it. I'm looking forward to wearing it this winter and curious to see how it will look after exposed to rain and snow. anybody else been able to wear their new jacket yet because weather permitted.

Its 92 with a heat index of close to 101 today. :!:

I'm dreaming of cooler weather, and the jacket has nothing to do with it. :(

Regard! Michaelson

While I definitely wouldn't recommend emigrating to the UK, one of the positive elements of this little isle is the cool weather. You could wear one of the more lightweight jackets most evenings.

While the nights have been cooling down up here in Boston the last few weeks, it's still not quite leather jacket weather.
Soon, though... VERY Soon!

The temp. here dropped down quite a bit overnight last weekend and so I was able to wear my Wested out for the first time since May 22nd!

I'll miss summer, but I'm looking forward to autumn and all the gear wearing opportunities!

I hear what everyone is saying. Temps here in Indiana have been high 80's to low 90's for a couple of weeks now with no rain either. It looks to stay that way for the rest of the week until the remnants of hurricane Gustav get here.

Autumn/Fall has come. I wore my old goat first time today for the season. :)

jacksdad;
Rain and snow does wonders for the look of goat I think, especially after a good frog strangler or two. 8)

Still way to hot in here in Kentucky. The bad thing is I'm hot blooded by nature so it's still a ways off before I could comfortably wear even a light jacket.

Good news is that I'm looking forward to winter for the first time in a long time.

been wearing my jacket every night and it's starting to wrinkle up and break in, nothing yet worth posting pictures for,but I feel once my jacket goes though a rain storm it will really start to break in,Wested makes a good jacket, I really feel my goat skin will last a lifetime. I hope it looks as good as some of the older wested's I've seen posted. only time will tell.

Temps being what they are, explain to me how a college professor wanders around "Peru" (Hawaii) and then "India" (Sri Lanka) with a leather jacket and a wool hat on. "He no nuts, he crazy!"

When we have mornings in MA that are below 60, I wear my jacket on the ride into work.
