an upturned lip on the brim.

something like this may have been metioned in the past, but I reckon I've found a great way to get an upturned lip on the sides and rear of a brim.
Simply get a small piece...(maybe about 20m)... of 10mm garden hose...(you know, the cheap, black stuff that gets used for spray watering systems)...run it under hot water so you can bend it into the curve of your brim, and then steam the brim and push the edge up against the hose...(or run your thumb along it).
Hey presto, upturned lip.
I'll try to post some pix.
Cheers
