....and see what really bad looks like.
Ok, so I picked up an ebay special about a couple months back. Took some video of me trying to do some butchered attempt at the Cairo Flash.
I just watched Adam's latest 10 ft whip vid (which rocks!) and thought to myself, what the ####, put up your vid so you can have some experienced guys/gals tell you what you need to fix in your technique. I've got an 8ft 12 plait ebay whip from "olde-tyme-stuff-1" .

It seems like alot of folks on here want to start out doing "Flashes" and crossovers and cutbacks without getting the basics first...
Godknows i did!
the first videos i posted where terrible.
I remember Lauren telling me that i was "all over the place"...
at the time I had no freakin idea what she meant, but now i do...... what she meant was the PLANES of cracks...... side, front, overhead, etc...
Id highly suggest watching this video viewtopic.php?t=28123 about a million times.
start with the cattlemans and work on it a hundred times.
I hear alot of wind noise, so it might be distorting it, but some of the cracks sound more like whooshes.
I know this because i was doing the same thing!! )
heck, i still do.
Like my MA instructor always says, the 3 most important things are; "Basics, Basics and Basics"
