How about faxing a Wested order?

Did it, as well as an e-mail to Peter with all but the payment information. Included that on the fax. No acknowledgement yet - that was two days ago. Am I merely jumping the gun? You know, hard not to be a little antsy.
Thanks.

I can understand the antsy feelings, but I think you're alright. I have always faxed in my orders. I just don't trust emailing cc info, even in pieces. I've never had a problem with this route. I've also, always called to follow up, though. This again may be more reliable, at the least quicker than an email response. Also, this way, if there's any questions or anything that needs clearing up on their end, they can do so right there on the phone.

Thanks, Mike. If I don't hear anything today, I'll call early in the morning and hopefully get a better phone rate. Oh, how much better could it be?! I'll probably call today. Just have to remember the 6 hour time difference.
I noticed I am no longer a "grail recovery volunteer", but have graduated to a "dig worker". Maybe I should celebrate with a DM purhcase
Thanks again for your reply.

I'm sure your fax went just fine.

When I ordered my first Wested, I did so by fax... I was happy to get that wested, only two weeks later.
Kind regards

I also faxed my first (and only) order to Wested.

They know what they're doing...don't worry.
I followed up with an e-mail to Peter, full of angst, and got his standard, reassuring reply: "All is well. Have no fear, Peter is here".
Peter sent me my jacket about a month later. It languished at the customs depot for about a week, and then I got it in fine shape a few days after that.
In all...about six weeks.
I frankly never thought to actually phone him. I did it all by e-mail and fax.

That's what I did, as well. I couldn't get a hold of Peter by email at the time and just thought this way would be quicker and safer - and it was.
