the picture, i believe, is from the temple scene in LC........if i were a betting man, that was a stetson.

there is a niche for HJ hats in our community.....something magnoli has brought to the market (god bless him).

i just wish SAB or HJ would listen to the fans.....especially when they are using indy to sell their current inferior product. these guys have no idea what indy's hat looked like.

i hope lucas slaps them with a c & d. maybe if they had a better block we'd be more compassionate about that.

Nice shots... and I love the cuffs on your shirt. I've only seen those on Connery's Bond.

Kind regards,
Magnoli

That's because the very dodgy areas are partially hidden. The hitch and transistion knot for example...

Totally different look from when I visited it July 2007. At least it has some Indiana Jones reference. When I saw the shop last year, it only had a black cheapish (in the look but not in the price) hat exposed and a few other items. I guess the new Indy film pushed them to take some more care of their exposition.
Nice picture whipwarrior, when was that taken?

I believe those shirts were by Turnbull and Asser, Jermyn Street, very close to SAB: http://www.turnbullandasser.co.uk/.

I am fairly sure that is a vintage HJ Dale bought from Swales (SP?) in the early 90's.

Indeed this was truly made by a great master.

I took those pics back in January. My hat is a late 90's era Poet crafted by Swales. Currently, it is the only fedora that I own. I ordered an Adventurebilt CS last December, so my HJ may have company by the end of the year, if I'm lucky. *fingers crossed*
