That is a really nice jacket! I have one in goatskin, and would love to have one in lambskin. As to the fit, I think you have plenty of room there, but if you've seen KOTCS, his jacket was a bit oversized as well. I think you have a keeper there!

Is the jacket a XL or large long? I see the tag says XL. Looks a little roomy but it depends on how you like it. Looks really nice. You could always sell it here or the auction site to get some money back if you'd rather get something smaller. BTW how tall are you? I'm 6'3" 215 lbs. and I need to get a long tall or XL.

im about 6,2 to 6,3 something like that the tag says large one the left and xtra large on right so i got large long so its in between that is probly why it has both sizes on it and it is roomy and idk if u can tell in the pics but the collar on me is long it ends a little far down idk maybe im just crazy

No, I don't think your crazy. I've looked at it again and I see what you mean. It is too late to send it back; you might try shrinking it a little. I ran my jacket through the wash and dryer and it definitely made a difference. Might be an option.

That's an XL Long I think. My Large Long I just received has 2 'L' tags on it.

Looks way too big...so you should just send it to me.
I think it looks really nice, and it's a great jacket. Good stuff.

i think u are right on it being a xtra large long the L on the left may mean long so they sent me the wrong size
oh well nothing i can do now about it.
it is just a raiders of the lost ark look with crystal skull fitting on being oversize like in the film

It looks like it is a good fit on the shoulders, and the sleeve length looks about right. The only other detriment I can see might be the torso, as it looks like you may have some extra room. The older you get, though, the more you will fill out, and fit into the jacket better, but it really depends on your own personal preference, as to how you like a jacket to fit, and how many years you intend to keep it? My guess would be that a Large-Long might be best for you 'right now', but in a few years...? This USW lamb is a good choice for 3 seasons, and possibly all four with some insulation or a sweater.

my waist ends at the tip of the points on the front pockets. the front flap that is a upside down triangle so the tips of the triangle is where my waist is.
my description of the pockets is kinda dumb

I have a G&B, and the "points of the pocket flaps" also fall around the waist, however, I don't like the pockets to hit around the mid chest either, like the way the old A-2's used to fit, then again, that is a personal preference. You could ask 20 different guys and get 20 different answers in this forum. What is important is to get the right fit for you. Some really go for the SA look, and want to reproduce the HF look as accurately as possible, while others just want a 'reasonable likeness' that will last for many years. If you feel awkward about it, my guess is that maybe it is not the 'just right' fit for you now? How do you normally like jackets to fit? Loose, roomy, snug, short? It's really your call. Large-Long may be the one you are after, though?
Based on the post above, you might be able to sell it and get something that may fit you better, if you are not happy with it? Just a thought.
