New music video (whipcracking related)....
Hi ~
After looking through numerous pictures I have of previous conventions of the former WWAC, I decided to make a new music video.
The song is called "Friends Forever", and I couldn't think of a better song to set this video to!
Here's the URL ~ I hope you enjoy watching it as much as I enjoyed making it!!!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gU5Dtk0I-es
(When you watch this video, I'm sure you'll see quite a few familiar faces)!!!
Until next time,
Cathy

I didn't chime in on this because I personally don't like slide shows done to music...that comes from be performing at a lot of church banquets and summer camps where I have to sit through a presentation that lasts way too long and then they have the sappy music slide show and all I want to do is do my show, knock 'em dead, get my check and go home to my family.
That said, personally I prefer looking at pictures at my own pace, not in a slide show with a predetermined amount of time on each picture. So I can skip through pictures I don't care about quickly and spend more time ones that I do care about.
I wasn't going to say any thing, but you were asking why no one commented on it...
sorry,
louie

Cathy, I don't belive those comments where ment to be insults, more a matter of frank constructive comments back to you based on their opinions.
I had seen the video from the post on the WWAC email list and thought it was well put together, nicely done and very sentimental. I think part of the problem with not getting comments was alot of the current members here are just not very frimiliar with the WWAC and didnt really know the members in the photos well enough and those who do just dont get to post here as often as they used too. It was a very nice gesture though and I for one was very sorry to see the club disbanded last year. Even thought future events will continue in a differnt venue, its just not the same as the old Las Vegas or Oklahoma conventions with Mark and Alex and the WWAC gang. I'll leave this thread open for the time being in hopes that you reconsider and come back, but if not i'll remove it per your request.
All the best.
Dan

Cathy (USNavyBlueAngel), please reconsider my comment. I in no way meant any level of insult. I stand by my statement that your video is nice and well produced.
By melancholy I only meant that had a tone of sadness and was very sentimental, nothing bad at all. Were I a member of the WWAC I would cherish a video such as this one.
Please allow me to apologize for my poor choice in words and please continue to participate in this community.

Comments were solicited, and honest comments were offered (benign and constructive). There was absolutely nothing to be offended by.
It seems ironic that one with the moniker USNavyBlueAngel would so quickly bail in the face of a little turbulence.
Harry Truman's words concerning "heat" come to mind.
