Do LC/CS jackets fit much differently than a Raiders?

I'm mostly of refering to Wested versions but in general as well. Are the differences of the LC jacket (Wested calls it LC/CS now) somehwat minor details like poppers, collar size, and the length of the back or is it also a different overall fit?

Thanks.

So if I put on a Wested Raiders and then a LC/CS will the cut be different? Speaking of two new off the rack jacekts of course.

I can only tell by photos I see posted.

My Wested LC/CS washed goat is a little longer (about 2 inches) front and back compared to a Wested OTR Raiders lambskin I previously had. (Same thing with my Wested LC/CS Novapelle)

The LC/CS seems to be more generous in the shoulders but narrower in the waist. The yoke is more waisted so the pleats stay closed better IMO.

The Raiders is a little bit more straight up and down shaped.

The LC/CS also has less open side vents so the jacket fit's snugger around your butt.

_, that's the problem I have with the fit - larger chest and smaller waist. So the LC sounds like it might be a nice fit.

I remember Peter at Wested saying that his CS prototype is better for people with less broader shoulders as the jacket sleeve seems that join the body are lower down compared to the Raiders; IMO I felt that the CS was bagier. I am looking forward to one day having one of my own; that is doubtfull thou.

Hope this helps a little,

Paul.

I'd bet you get a chance to get one sooner or later. Put a few dollars away at a time and keep checking if anything comes up on the bazaar here!

Thanks for the info.
