Looking for a nylon whip - time to ask the experts!

Post by Magno »

Hey fellas, name's magno.

I've been a whip enthusiast for more than ten years now. I've also been a lurker here for a couple of years. However, I've never been a part of the COW community because I didn't feel I had a lot to contribute. But recently, I've been having a heckova time finding myself a new whip, so I figured what the heck, I'd best ask the experts.

I want a nylon paracord whip in an Indiana Jones style or similar, preferably available in 10 foot.

I've managed on my own to find a couple of places that I like, but I would like to know what my completel options are. Please tell me who to talk to.

I am no expert of whips or whipmakers, however I have seen many fine posts of excellent work by COW members.

Here are four members that can make really nice looking nylon whips (I have not used any of their works, but viewed the super craftsmanship they have posted here).

Indiana_Hall
PyramidBlaster
rjallen70
classicbullwhips

There are many others but these guys are very active and all seem to be excellent all around people.

Check out this thread. There's some great information over there:

viewtopic.php?t=32418

On top of that, professional kangaroo whip makers Lauren "LemonLauren" Wickline, Paul "MidwestWhips" Nolan, and Bernardo "DelCarpioWhips" Del Carpio were all incredibly impressed with the 6' nylon bullwhip I just got from Steve, "JabbaHutt" Huntress, (of NorEast Whips, www.neawhips.com,) I purchased mine based on trying out one that professional whip artist, Chris "Canasta" Camp had, and fell in love with it.

I have nothing but good to say about Steve's work and customer service.

It's good to have options.

Get one from Steve.
Best whip for the price!
I own a 5 footer from him.
Its about a year and a half old, and it
feels great. :)

His service is amazing as well.

My nylon whip review from BullWhipBorton can be read here viewtopic.php?t=31664 I sent him a nylon whip free to try out and let me and everyone else know what he thought, if anyone has any questions about the nylon whips I offer, or nylon whips in general feel free to ask away.

Steve does make a great whip, as does Indiana_hall, and classic bullwhips and PB...
I would be proud to own a whip from any of these fine makers, and intend to add them all to my own collection as funds permit.
As for me...thank you for your consideration. I am gearing back up after a week and a half off, so I have a bit of catching up to do. I am currently 10-14 days out on a whip.
