Nice photos! There doesn't appear to be much in it.. in terms of the types of leather. What's your opinion of the 2... as a comparison?

nowaks leather is smoother to the touch & is less "pebblily" if that makes any sense...

Both jackets look great, BW. I'm partial to the Nowak, though.

My Nova is MUCH darker than what you have in your photo. ....maybe 'cause your's is a Raiders?......the color of my Nova is somewhat like a slightly distressed G&B Goat.

Nice, you should post your pics in the Nowak Owner's thread for easy future reference. By the way, how did you get such a low number? When did you order yours and did you request it?

Interesting, I ordered mine before CS came out and got #107. Go figure. For my second number, I wanted #777, but that was taken, so I settled for #500. (nice round number)

Interesting that you prefer the Wested. I will probably wear my Raiders wested in warmer temps, and as my costume jacket. But I love the feel and weight of the Nowak. I think you'd have to be dragged behind a truck to damage that one.

I never noticed till now that the back piece on the Nowak doesn't extend all the way across the shoulders. Much like a USWings. Is this true of all of them?

Peace.

Hey Chewie, I noticed you're living in balmy Florida.... when are you ever going to be able to wear a TN jacket?

In regards to the yoke or "back piece"; yes, all TN's have this feature. It's one of the methods used to keep the expansion pleat closed when the arms are at the side.

Wen I turn the A/C down real low. lol

Yeah, that aspect of Florida living does ****. While it's nice to be able to do things outdoors all year round, it really does get too hot down here. But I travel every now in then during the cooler months, plus we do get that 5 day cold stretch down here every year.

Yeah, my Nowak is lighter too. I love the photos and they are both great jackets.

My Wested Raiders is Novapelle and it's also darker than Bruce Wayne's, so I don't think the style has anything to do with it. I'd guess the variations in each "batch" of Novapelle accounts for the differences.

BTW Bruce Wayne, beautiful jackets you have there! After everything I've read and seen, I'd order one from Tony Nowak in a heartbeat if I could afford to do so.

thanx for the nice comments, guys!!! I took a closer look at my jacket this morning & I noticed that mr. nowak did indeed distress it a little. there is some along the edges of the collar. I am going to look for more when I get home...
