Has anyone purchased or seen pictures of this yet? I have a Fed IV Deluxe in Dark Brown and love it, I was just wondering if the Deluxe felt changes the color in any way from the Standard Fed IV.

Intriguing question. Anyone have side-by-side comparison photos?

I guess I am the best to answer this as I have lots of both! The color is identical in both felts, I don't have side by side, the pics I do have were taken under different light so indicate a variation which is not present.

The the deluxe felt is as per the Dark Brown, a little softer to feel, smoother and denser. As the color selector on our site is not working (for another few days) I have linked our web image here.

I plan to play with this hat a little more and take some different angles. Will post them soon.

To answer an earlier question we will not be making a special run for the deluxe in Carbon Grey until we see how the Moonstone goes. So not a yes but not a never either!

Hey, folks, let's start a separate carbon grey thread, if you don't mind. This is about the moonstone Fed.

I've cleared out all the carbon grey comments. Let's keep this one on topic.

Thanks!
