Problem with my fall

Post by DR Ulloa »

I noticed today that there is a small tear in my fall, maybe six inches from the cracker. Its not big, but it caught my attention. Should I be worried about this?

It is probably too small to photograph, but I'll try, when I get home.

If it's just a small nick or cut, I wouldn't be real concered.

It might get larger over time but that just depends. How long is your fall currently? Most makers/crackers suggest replacing the fall at 18 inches long. So as long as it's still long, worse case I'm guessing is that you would have to chop off the fall where the weak spot is. But like I said, worse case.

As long as you keep your fall greased it shouldnt be a problem.
