Has anyone noticed...

In the Venice scenes in LC Indy appears to be wearing brown suspenders under his suit coat. The last time I watched it I was surprised by this and didn't notice them later.
It's when he first gets off the boat you can see them as his jacket is swishing around.

I noticed them last night when it was on SciFi. I never noticed it before but I happen to be looking very closely at that scene to determine exactly what color his suit is. In some shots it looks light brown/tan. In other shots in look gray. The same thing happens when he is in the library/church and in the boat fight scene. My wife and I keep having a debate over which is the correct color. Does anyone know for sure what the color is?

In ToD, Indy has white suspenders on under the black vest he's wearing with his dinner jacket at... Club Obi Wan!
