Received by email and posted vertabim for Sgt. David Hack:
I want to answer the Posting under ToD and US Wings
I would like in my own way to answer some comments by Crismans... Doug C.. Indiana Holt .. Indiana Strones.. and GM.
As you know I had open Heart surgery and a triple by pass last Jan 29th But most of you don't know I have advanced Glaucoma with central retinal vein occlusions ( CRVO) No cure and major blood disorders.. The one thing that gives me pleasure is working with people and when I have said I love the Indy Fans.. I really do.
Now with that said.. type in www.cooperjackets.com and www.cooper-jackets.com I put Neil Cooper in business way back when before he knew how to spell leather jacket... Neil's Father had a US Military contract and did not ship the goods and went out of business! I and my Partners picked up the company and every thing from there on is History.. 15 years ago I told Neil if He ever went online I would pull the plug and I did ten years ago.. Neil Cooper went out of business five years ago.
Yes I made200 Indy Jones Jackets for George Lucas why back when and yes I have sold Indy Jackets to Walt Disney Animation VIPs and still do to this day..Men I manufacture and sell the Indy Style Jacket one hundred to one world wide! You are right on when you said I changed my Pattern.. Yes per the wish of the Fans.. I am now making a long Collectors Edition Vintage Cowhide IJVINC with top and bottom snaps!!! and will release them Aug. 1,08 and will give $ 100.00 discount to COW members.. Ask your self one simple question.. Over the years what other Manufacture has given COW members a discount like I do!!! Why.. I remember when I had to go from pay check to pay check and I think that you being a member of COW is very important.. When I was 17 years old I worked the docks and later joined the USCG and after that the US Army.. Been there done that.
Yes I make Jackets to make people happy.. You never put a price tag on a Dream.
I hope I have answered your questions..

Regards,
Sgt. Hack

Regard! Michaelson

Guess there's a reason I've gotten two USW jackets this month! And now will I need a third?

Whatever questions there are about SA or the like, there's little question about the quality of the jackets for the price.

That's terrific news! And I hope that what I was asking wasn't misunderstood. I have a Wings jacket and think it's terrifically made and the discount to COW members is beyond generous.

I was just thinking that a Temple of Doom style jacket made by the original manufacturer would be a terrific item. The goal that I have arrived at (but as flighty as I am with these things who knows how long I'll think this way) is to get a jacket based on each movie from the original manufacturer.

Sorry if there was any confusion on my intent.

ditto. Got on the list first thing after announcing that LONGS would be made!

Guys, we really are enjoying some great vendors in this hobby: Sarge, Peter at Wested, Ron at Hats Direct, etc. who try their best to accomodate us and actually are available for communication!
I know other hobbies I've spent $$$ on went to others who could care less about anyhing than a profit.

I've never owned a USWings jacket before. But, I would very much like to. However, I'm sorry to learn of his medical issues. Let's keep Sgt. Hack in our prayers. Hats' off to his jackets and to his service for our country!

High Regards,
Aaron
