Alden's going back for tongue repair

Alas....the Alden boots I got back in March are going to have to be repaired. I believe the tongue of the right boot was sewn in crooked. I know that's a very obvious error but I only noticed it because -- when you pull the tongue straight -- the tongue had wrinkles in it as though it was being pulled at a diagonal.
So, after a few months of wearing them -- and pulling the tongue straight -- the tongue has started to come unsewn from the inside of the boot.
Anyone ever sent back a pair of Aldens for repair?
