I just found a book that I had heard about that was published in 1997. It is called Leather Jackets. Can you guess what it is about? It is a small (8"X8") book with about sixty pages or so that chronicle the history of the leather jacket in our culture. It starts with the old westerns to today. Of course they include our fedora clad, whip wielding hero as well as Alan Ladd in China. Not a lot of words. They are content to let the pictures tell the story.

Wow! I am surprised it is still in print. Those kind of books have a short run.

Well, there aren't any "new" copies available to be ordered, so it may very well be out of print. MK, where did you find it at? If they have more and if I like the book, I might just have to pick one up. If we see you, can you bring it so I take a peek at the pictures?

I got mine at a local used bookstore. It was the only copy. Remind me when we get closer and I will bring it when I see you at FS.
