I havent found anything definitive through searching, so I thought I'd ask here what would be an accurate gunbelt size for either Todd's or Lee Keppler's if my waist size is 32. I recently received a gunbelt today, size 36, and I'm wearing it on the last hole.

Hmmm....my waist is a 29" so I ordered a 30-32" from Todd and I have 2 holes to spare. How low are you wearing your gunbelt on your hip?

Actually, turns out I was wearing it wrong It seems to be just right for Raiders, without the extra belt length from the later movies, I'm happy now. I never realized the belt actually went through one of the loops.

The general rule of thumb when ordering a gunbelt is to take your normal waist size and add 4-5 inches. When ordering the web belt, order it 10 inches larger than your waist size. Hope this info helps.

What about the width of the gunbelt? To me, it appears to be the same width as the web belt--1-1/4". Is this correct, or is 1-1/2" more accurate?

I believe that the gun belt is closer to 1 1/2". When mine are side by side, the gun belt is a little larger than the web belt.

Yes, the gunbelt is 1 1/2" in width and the web belt is 1 1/4" in width.

Thanks for the info! I'm planning to make my own "close enough, Indy on a budget" gunbelt with supplies from Tandy Leather, and I wanted to make sure I got the right size blank, buckle, etc.
