Has anyone had any problems with the Federation IV being too short on them even if they have the right size. I mean I'm concerned that with my tall head that I won't be able to bash in a center dent. Anyone had this problem before?

I would suggest that if you have that problem, you should probably order a size lower - that way your head won't go so deep into the hat. :junior: -M

I apologize but seriously, when was I ever going to get a chance to use that picture!

A good fit should ensure that the centerdent doesn't touch your head. Hats that have too much of a dome shape tend to dip down too far in the centerdent, but that should not be a problem with the FedIV.

no not to that extent fortunately. But I'm wearing my DP and its 5cm too small, (its a 56 and I should wear a 61 in the Fed IV) and my head it just breaking the top of it.

A DP crown is much lower than a Fed. If you have the right size Fed, you should be ok. Also, many people make the center dent deeper than it's supposed to be, so that could cause a problem.

I have kind of a high dome, myself. Many modern hats give me a problem, but not Feds.
