I'm thinking about buying it and it is a great price

It is close enough...and as you say cheap enough.
I bought one back in the day (China) and was worth the pittance I paid.
Worst thing about it was the plastic strap. Was also too short.

I've used that one before (with a new strap from WPG), and it works okay. It seemed a bit big compared to other ones, but for the money it was a good deal. However, on mine, there were lots of loose threads, not stitches but threads, on the inside pockets. I've since started using one of Todd's, but this one will still get some use.

Eh....
Before I got my first MK VII I looked at these, and almost got one. But then I decided to save the money, bite the bullet, and get a real one. And I'm satisfied. I don't have to worry about upgrading to a better bag....just getting another one!

That is the one I am using right now ( I have a MKVII on the way)
The bag is OK, I ditched the strap (made of pleather) and made my own and it works pretty good.
I just found a place that has a extremely close buckle and will be making belts soon as well. I will be doing a new belt for the MK VII as soon as the buckles arrive and I will post pictures
I am also thinking of tossing my "hat" in the ring for replica bags as well

I think it looks like a descent close enough, but be prepared that the hardware will be pretty far from looking original. Just a thought and a tip.
As "just a bag" I think it looks great though.
