What is the best color to order for an Adventure shirt made by Magnoli Clothiers?

Stone is indeed the color - you have chosen wisely; Magnoli does great work!

I was thinking Paisley or Polka Dots.

Stone, but I've heard for parts of LC, the color would be more Light Khaki.

I actually have two different colored Magnoli shirts, and saw a third at the summit that was in between. Comparing them with the Noel Howards and Westeds all around, I can say that any of the 3 lightest colors should do, depending on your theory of how light the shirts in the movies were. Stone is the popular color, but it's lighter than NH and Wested. The middle one I saw was closest to them. So, we're basically back to "a matter of opinion".

which color chewie? the next colour up is 'light khaki'. is it me or does the stone colour look greenish and the ecru and soft white look more like the actual stone that you get? maybe we're not matching the colours up to the description?

Colors do vary slightly from bolt to bolt, but this is basically my opinion of each color:
Stone: by far the most popular, a light, almost grey color; very "Streets of Cairo" in harsh daylight.
Natural: a mild light beige color, which, to me at least, seems the more real-life accurate (especially in those screen shots comparing Indy's shirt to Marion's true white blouse).
Light Khaki: has a slight greenish tint to it... reminds me more of the KOTCS shirt.
Ecru: a light cream (strong yellow tones).
Cream: very similar to Ecru, only slightly darker... it's the color of cream.
The last two are not screen accurate to any particular scene, but make for a very nice alternative.
Kind regards,
Magnoli

Tron7960, Did you white balance your camera before taking that shot? There are a lot of subtle colors coming through

I'm gonna have to go with NO on the white balance, because I don't even know what that is!
It was taken outside though.

The material is a little thicker than NH and Wested, but very comfortable and breathable. It takes a little more effort to get them wrinkled, too.
I have no idea what color my darker Mag shirt actually is, because it was a "happy accident". Based on the descriptions Magnoli just gave, I'd guess Ecru. My first is stone, and it is that almost white grayish khaki color that many people try for. If the Ecru was more gray that yellow in the undertones, it would match the Wested and NH colors pretty close.
