I'm TORN between Wested US Wings

I've been doing some homework, read through ANY post Wings was mentioned in, as well as the numerous Wested posts. I just don't know which one to get! Here's the deal...
I want a GOAT jacket
I want a jacket that looks as SA as it can be but be durable enough to have some adventures in
Wested looks like it might fit better, but I'm iffy on the durability.
Wings looks like it has the durability factor but the size and "Indy" look is questionable according to some members.
The price difference is about $10, and $300-$320 is my limit
Please any help! I'm like 5 seconds away of ordering either one.

A Wested customized goat jacket would probably be your best bet. USW only come in S, M, L, XL.......I ordered a USW goat a while back and returned it due to poor fit.

Well, I know this probably isn't going to help much, but would you be more disappointed with a jacket that didn't look screen authentic, or a jacket that did look screen authentic but came apart on you a little sooner? That's not meant as a statement to praise or condemn either jacket, but merely to put into perspective what is most valuable to you. Keep in mind, when I say come apart, I don't mean in a month. Your jacket, whichever you choose, will last years...
I have a lambskin Wested that lasted me about 5 years before it started to show wear in the lining. It's now about 7 years old and there are big holes in the lining. Aside from the normal wear marks, and one VERY small hole in the end of one of the sleeves, the leather is fine.
The goat will be tougher than the lamb, but I doubt the lining will be tougher than mine was (assuming you're going with cotton). I am a very recent Wings owner, so I really can't comment on its longevity, but it feels like a much more substantial lining than the Wested ever did.
Hope that's helpful to you...

Well...durability is more important... my fear is that US Wings jackets are a poor attempt for Indy outfits...I still want to look the part, but not a feeble attempt.

My USW feels like ten times the jacket the Wested I have does.
The Wested is nice, but the USW is a jacket built to last. It looks like an Indy jacket, too.
Plus if you are in the US you can easily return the USW if it's not what you expected. Have fun dealing with Westeds wonderful service.

honestly I have a U.S. Wings and a Wested and I just hate my U.S. wings - it doesn't fit me right - it doesn't look right - it's just no right - my wested is one tough little mutha - and it looks great to bot - I would go with wested without a doubt!

I feel the same way. I love my Wested...but I feel only wanting to wear it in nice environments and in with nicer clothes. MY US Wings feels ready to roll under a truck with.....honestly.
While everyone here is right (you need to decide how important SA is to you)...keep in mind thta a jackets were originally donned by man for practical purposes too. USW gives youthat and a great Indy replica appearance.

I wasn't capable of making this choice so I bought from both of them. Both companies makes superb Indy jackets, and both come with the pedigree of having made jackets for the films.

I agree with Weston, get one (or more) of each. Then you know you got the right one.

I prefer Wested. You can get it customed made to your specs.

Get a Wested...they're not that fragile. I've got a 7 year old lamb, and other than the inside cotton lining tearing some at the armpits, it's fine. Goat will be even tougher. You're not going to towed by a truck over gravel, so it will last you just fine.
