To COW Members in the NYC area (including the 5 boroughs)

What's the deal with you and prop guns? I'm looking to order a close enough airsoft, but I don't even know if sites will ship to me, I'm located in Brooklyn. Does anyone from the NYC area have tips for me? Or perhaps informing me on some permits/legal issues that I'm not aware of regarding airsoft.
