hi all,
well got my jacket and love it, but it feels too big, I ordered a large,I follwed the catlogue sizing I usaually wear a 44 in an A-2 and this just feels too big. I know I have short arms but just doesn't feel right. How does an Indy compare to an A-2 is it suppose to be larger. I'm hestitant to send it back cause it's so cool but I don't want to feel like I'm wearing my big brothers hand me down. just wondering?

Can you posts pics to see how you look in it?...........Anyways, several months ago, I ordered a US Wings goatskin also and had to return it because it was too baggy...I also wear a 44R but the US Wings "large" was too large on me. I think that US Wings jackets in general do tend to run big. If I were you, I'd return it and get something that fits you better.......don't want to spend $500 and get something that doesn't fit you well. If you want a tighter/slimmer fitting Indy jacket, I suggest you go with a Wested custom jacket, or a Magnolia custom jacket, or a Todd's custom jacket.

I'll try to post pictures tonight. I'm thinking if I do keep the jacket I'll need to take it to a taylor to have ths sleeves shorten and taken in a little. did it with my a-2 from wings two years ago.

It'll be much cheaper for you to try to exchange the jacket for a Medium.....why don't you try calling US Wings?
